How does Native Instruments’ Maschine and Maschine Mikro compare in terms of workflow?

Aside from Maschine Mikro not having customizable and not being compatible with the Maschine Stand here are a few other differences that might help you make a decision on which one fits your production style best.

-Maschine gives you access to groups from the hardware controller via 8 multi-colored group buttons where Maschine Mikro features only 1 multi-colored group button and shortcuts.

-Maschine allows you to tweak multiple parameters at once where Maschine Mikro does not. You can get around this by programing macro controls and using a second MIDI controller.

-Maschine features a built-in MIDI interface where Maschine Mikro does not.

Re-amping is a recording technique used to amplify previously recorded material such as guitars. This technique is useful to experiment with different textures and amps after the performance has been recorded allowing the player to focus on his or her performance. Afterward the mixing engineer can take his or her time trying out different combinations of cabs and amp heads to find the right character for the track.
